I am starting to simulate a CENTRIFUGAL FAN. 1.I have made the rotor wiht turbogrid 1.6 2.I have made the volute with CFX-Mesh 3.I have put massflow at inlet and pressure at outlet 4.The interface between rotor-volute is a Frozen rotor.

could anyone give me advise?? 1.It is o.k to mesh with CFX-Mesh for volute? 2.How I can know if the mesh for the rotor and volute is o.K. 3.Wich type of interface I must put? 4.How I can model the gap between rotor(rotating) and inlet (static)

Results between experimental data and CFX data are quite diferent.

Star making the impeller with Turbogrid. Massflow at inlet and relaive presure at outlet=0 If you need more acurrate results, put the impeller into de volute.
