expert parameters of SST model?
 

Hi, all

The SST model employs many model parameters that could be changed through "Andvanced Model control" panel. It seems that CFX documentation has not provided enough explaining and guide of how to determine this parameters. The default values of these parameters might be not suitable for specific flow simulation, and it had been validated in my case when the standard k-e model employed.

So I want to ask: anyone could provide some explaining or where could find the detailed messsage of SST model? thanks

I think the reason why they haven't included much information about the expert parameters is so that you have to really know your turbulence modelling to know how to use them correctly. Unless you know exactly what you're doing, it's probably unwise to touch them.

Unfortunately, it means a lot of reading etc
