Pressure/Force on Wall BCP

Hello CFX-experts,

I have a problem about exporting the nodal force/pressure values affected by a fluid on a wall BCP.

There are the two routines "user_getvar" and "user_get_gvar", but how do I have to initialize those routines, to get a table with the values of the forces/pressures on each node of my BCP?

Thanks for you help,

Gabor

In CFX-Post you can export force / pressure affected by a fluid on wall using following path.

- Open File Menu > Export. - Choose the path where you want to save exported file. Also write desired file name with an extension of ".csv". - Now in "Locactions" option, select the surface on which you want to find out the Force / pressure acting on to. - Tick on Node Numbers. - Select variable as force or pressure. - Click on "Save".

Open this *.csv file in MS Excel. You will find value of force / pressure for each node of specified surface. Done.

Re: Pressure/Force on Wall BCP

Thank you for that very helpful information.

But is there also a way to get those nodal force-values inside a user_fortran routine? I am programming a fluid-strucute-interaction algorithm using CFX and therefore I need those values inside a calculation run, because the force-values are influencing my mesh motion, and the mesh-motion is influencing the new force-values.

Thank you for the help.
