Default Catalogue size problem but while meshing!

Hi,

I'm a long time user of CFX. I can fix the common 'catalogue size' problem with the expert parameter in the solver or just editing the .def file.

But know, I get this message in the CFXbluid 5.6 while generating the mesh. It is a big mesh (maybe more than 3000000 F.V.) but I got a big computer too...so memory is not an issue. How can you fix this bug when there is no .def file written by the times this happens?

P.S. I know it's not the problem definition, cause it runs on a smaller scale (less F.V.).

Thank you for your help.

Why don't you try using ICEM? I created a tet mesh with around 6million elements before and it worked fine. I assume you have GBs of ram to run it...

Sorry, you will have to use a different meshing tool. This was not a controllable parameter outside of the flow solver in CFX 5.6. Perhaps you need to upgrade to CFX Mesh 10.0. 5.6 is getting pretty old these days.
