regarding back up

Default regarding back up

How back up file should be activetaed for transiet analysis?i.e. suppose i have stop the run now i want to retsrt it from whwre it has stopped by giving tha treult file as initial filoe.So i have to change my timestep and total time.so should i have to change total time and time steps. and yes then how it should be modified? Thank u.

Hi,

You also need to change the default initial time to the time when you terminate the previous run.

No, you don't. You may use the option "Automatic with Value". When this option is selected, the values are obtained from the Initial Values File.

If you stop a run, you may restart it using the original .def Definition File and the .res or the (full_).trn file as the Initial Values File
