Hi guys.

I need help with deleting meshes in CFX Pre. I have to delete mesh but it is impossible (option is greyed). Can anyone advice me how to delete it?

I glued those meshes but I need to delete them right now...

Thanks in advance for any advice

I have never encountered a problem deleting a mesh. Please post a screenshot of the problem.

hey see on top where you have two meshes.

One with extension .cfx5
and second one with .msh (fluent mesh).

Which one you want to delete? right click on that mesh and then select delete !!!

I want to delete these merged meshes, not the ones with extensions.

This is not the answer you're expecting, but I've seen that too and the easiest way is to just delete both meshed and re-import the one you want. You will not loose the CCL data in the process.

If your CFX-Pre setting up is in Workbench and therefore connected with mesh module, it's not available to use Delete Mesh option in CFX-Pre - as far as I know. These option works for meshes imported as a external mesh file e.g. cgns mesh format.
