Fuel Injection for Racing Car
Does anyone know how to model the heat transfer between the injected gasoline and the air being taken in by the cylinder of an IC engine. In reality, the gasoline extracts heat energy from the air to change from a liquid into a vapor, and this can be calculated using the 1st law of thermodynamics, but setting up the physics in cfx-10 is a different matter. I have information on the properties of fuel etc, but cannot figure out how to model it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is for my degree, thank you.
