HI i want to know about how t o define head loss co effcient? Suppose i have 2000 m long pipe.Due t o space constraint i only model 1 m long pipe. Now in cfx ther is linear and quadratic resistance co effcient.I have to define head loss co effcient in such a manner that it considers that lenth (2000 m) also.I am calculating darcy's friction co effcient and applying head loss coeffcient by linear and quad resistance c oefficnt..but i do not know that in whic h it sholud be applied?i.e .in subdomain i a mapplying it as a linear and quad resistance coeficnet.but this does not contain lenth of the pipe.pls anybody know this?I have to define any resistance coeficnet which shoulkd consider lenth of the pipe. Thanking you all
