I want to change the angle of attack. So can anybody help me with it. The velocity which i need to use is 200m/s and angle of attack as 5 degree and -5 degree.

when specifying inlet boundary condition, there is a setting for direction. By default there is "normal speed" option. So switch to "cart. vel. components" or "cyl. vel. components" depending on flow regime you want to define and by using goniometrcial functions you calculate desired components by your angles

There are many ways you can do this.
* Change the inlet boundary flow direction (as keeper suggests) * Generate a new geometry with the airfoil at the new angle (pretty tedious and inefficient for most cases) * Put the airfoil in a circular cutout region connected to the rest of the domain by a GGI. Then you can rotate the central region in CFX-Pre with transformation (sometimes useful as you only have to mesh once but you do not need to change the boundary conditions which is useful sometimes). |
