Batch Processing of Meshes

Hi all,

Does anyone have experience of gridding lots of geometries in an automatic batch fashion? I can get Turbogrid to work, but not consistently without intervention (I'm gridding turbine blades). Has anyone done this with ICEM Tetra for instance? Is it possible with CFX Mesh?

Thanks for any assistance,

Kevin

Re: Batch Processing of Meshes

Hi Kevin, You can use replay scripts in ICEM. I use for for hexa-meshes, but I don't see why it should not work in tetra. It is however important that you use topologically similar geometry files, since the numbering of points, curves and surfaces needs to be identical in order to make the replay script work.

You start up the replay script from the file menu.

The replay script can be opened and edited in a text editor. If something for some reason does not work, I have had success loading one line of a time in the script, and then sorting the errors out one at a time.
