Hi All Anyone familier with modelling/importing/mesh generation/simulation of a human manikin? It would be very helpful for me to know and learn from his/her experiences and progress using ICEM CFD/ANSYS CFX. For correspondence either use this forum or one of the following email addresses rehanyousaf77@yahoo.com rehan.yousaf@ise.fraunhofer.de rehan.yousaf@fbta.uni-karlsruhe.de Best regards Rehan

Hi A human manikin is a detailed human figure. In CFD practice normally a human body is represented by a simple volume (circular or rectangular)of heat source. In some cases like study of micro climate around human body it is not sufficient at all. In order to investigate in detail differrent human figures are modelled these figures are termed technically as human manikin.
