Compile Subroutine

Hi,

I am trying to compile the file "PipeValve_inlet.F" from the CFX Tutorial with the command "! system ("cfx5mkext PipeValve_inlet.F") == 0 or die;" however couldnt succeed yet. It gives "Perl Syntax error detected" message, how can i resolve this issue

I am using MS Fortran Power Station and CFX 10.

Thanks,

Serdar

Re: Compile Subroutine

I figured out that CFX needs Compaq Visual Fortran 6.5 or later.

How about Intel Fortran? Can be used or not?

Re: Compile Subroutine

hi Kevin,

it is written in CFX help exactly that ;

Intel Visual Fortran has not been tested with ANSYS CFX, Release 10.0 and may not work

Serdar
