how can i simulated the Walking Beam Furnace

i want to simulate the walking beam furnace with transient method in cfx,but i have no experience in modelling the moving steel box, please give me some advice on this ,thank you so much!

I have one question? Why is walking beam mechanisem design the way it is. Why have this vertical moves?
