Hi everybody I'm trying to learn how to use turbogrid, and I wanted to import an IGES turbine geometry on it. Is it possible to do it? Have I to import it in BladeModeler and than export my geometry as turbogrid geometry? Thank you

I suppose that with BladeModeler (I don`t used it) comes some kind of utility to transfer CAD models to its own geometry. BladeGen (predecessor of BladeModeler) had such utility. This utility located in File->New->Data Import Wizard... Because interface of BladeModeler almost same I suppose that you can find it on the same place...

Thanx, I also supposed BladeModeler can help to solve the problem...Do you know if it is possible to save mesh for other solvers other than CFX (for example comet)?

There is a problem with export to Comet, ICEM CFD not supporting this format. But if ICEM not support it, then Turbogrid especially can`t. Maybe such export will be possible through CGNS format. I don`t now of Comet mesh format support. And related to previous post... I did not say that BladeModeler necessarily has such tool, maybe ANSYS removed it... But I hope not.
