Default Porosity and buoyancy

hey,

Does anyone knows how to use buoyancy on a porous medium in CFX? Because, as soon as I add an isotropic loss model with a resistance loss coefficient, I get a big pressure jump on the interface porous-fluid... the pressure goes up to 40000Pa on the interface, whereas it's between 0 and 300Pa on the rest of the domain (which is in agreement with my boundary conditions).

I tried to set the medium as non porous and I had no such dicontinuity. I also tried to put it porous but non buoyant, and I didn't have any discontinuity either. But when both are involved....

Does anyone has a solution? Can I set buoyancy in some domain only (the non porous ones) and not in others?

Thanks,

Guillaume

There is a bug when plotting hybrid pressure on porous interfaces in CFX... look only at 'conservative' pressures... hopefully the solution itself is ok... otherwise contact your support group.
