fluid fluid Interface
Hello I'm modelling a flow in two connected fluids domain, but in the interface I don't like to have consrvative masse flux condition, just heat transfer condition. Is it possibl in CFX?

Re: fluid fluid Interface
Are you trying to model CHT through a thin surface?

Re: fluid fluid Interface
No But CHT is used when you have solid domaine in your simulation, but in my case I've just fluid domains. Any suggestions?

Re: fluid fluid Interface
What is preventing the fluid from flowing, but allowing heat. What are you trying to model?

So i've I've a vessel filled with watre (fluide ) and inside a fruit juice in a plastic envelope. But the thikness of enveloppe is too small, so i've just to mconsider fluid fluid interface:

So... you are trying to model CHT through a thin surface!

You cannot currently do this in CFX without some thickness to the solid.

Re: fluid fluid Interface
No there isn't, although you might run into round off issues if you use the actual thickness (resolved by running double precision).

Just make it thicker and calculate an appropriate k to represent the conduction.
