2D model in CFX
Hi,how can i build a 2D model in CFX 5.6 on the x-y plane.I have tried, but stopped at the "3D domain" because it is 2D. Can i set only one element on the z direction and think it as a 2D model? Thank you!

Re: 2D model in CFX
Yes, you can do so. CFX uses a 3D-Solver, so placing one element in the z dircetion gives you a 2D-Situation. Use symetry boundary condition on the x-y-Planes.
