Default Stationary Transient

Hi everyone,

i did a stationary 3D-Sim of a wind turbine. Is the computated flow field then similar to the result from a transient computation at a specific point of time or are the values averaged in some way.

Expressed another way:

Is there a "real" physical timestep when computating stationary?

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Do you mean you have done a frozen rotor simulation? If so the assumptions made in this type of simulation and when it is appropriate is discussed in the documentation.
