Hi all,

The fan has a diameter of about 0.8m and speed at 3000rpm. I want to get the fan power, static pressure rise across the fan, and fan efficiency. Should I use compressible flow or incompressible flow? How much difference will that make?

Thanks a lot,

Ivan

Why not run both and find out for yourself?

But in general when the Mach number is under 0.3 the difference between compressible and incompressible flow is under 1%.
