IN PARTICLE TRACKING, IS IT POSSIBLE THAT IF THE PARTICLE STRIKE THE WALL IT IS SETTLE DOWN IN THE DOMAIN? HOW? IS IT POSSIBLE TO CALCULATE THIEIR NUMBERS? THANS FOR CO-OPERATION VIPIN |

Hello Vipin,
it is possible to remove a particle when it hits a wall. You need to change the values of the restitution coefficients to zero. You can find them within the boundary condition for the wall -> "Fluid Values" -> "Velocity" -> perpendicular/parallel coefficient. In CFX-Post you can calculate the mass flux of particles through the wall. But the output-file gives you the number of particles which where collected on the wall. I don't know if there is a possibility in CFX-Post to get the particle number of collected particles on the wall. Regards, Felix |
