Default Devolatization

Hi All,

I am simulating a case with CFX-10. Coal particles have to devolatize to give char and some volatile matter. The problem is as soon as coal particles are entering the inlet; these coal particles are devolatizing, which shouldn't be the case. I am limiting the devolatization reaction, by giving high activation temperature. But for devolatize, it is taking energy at inlet and the temperature at inlet is going as low as 0 K. Can any body suggest how to restrict the devolatization reaction below certain temperature ( please note that I tried restricting by activation energy( activation temperature) but not successful).?Any suggestions are most welcome. Thanks for your time Regards Devolt
