How can use the different Fluid marerials in the different domains?

If the domains aren't touching, you can use a binary mixture, and set the value for vf of Fluid A to one and Fluid B to zero in the first domain, and set vf of Fluid A to zero and Fluid B to one in the other domain.

Thanks for you answer! That's a good idea. Why I can't use Fluid A in one domain, and Fluid B in another domain? Thank you!

Dear Kir, and Johnny

Though the approach sounds sensible and a lot of other codes do it that way, the problem is that the physical models must be the same on both domains.. Same turbulence model, reactions, etc..

If you are using ANSYS CFX 5.7.1 or 10.0, you can set an enviroment variable before starting CFX-Pre that will let you setup multidomain/physics/fluid cases. However, it is up to you that certain physics consistency checks are satisfied, ie. check your setup.

The enviroment variable has been mentioned in this forum several times:

CFX5_NO_CONSTANT_PHYSICS
