High Local mach number for sub sonic flow

I have a rotor stator model. This is a subsonic model using RNG KE. But I have observed that locally the flow shows high mach number(2.7) at the exit of a narrow rotor stator gap. Essentially the flow comes out as a jet. Although CFX warns to change to max contuinty loop 2, still the model continues to run and gets converged. I suspect the mesh locally. But looks pretty decent(ICEM quality 0.4 determinant and 18 deg angle). Can someone through some lights on the issue including the grid..

Thanks in advance, Kali
