I have used to meshing a mixed centrifugal blade impeller a several softwars as bladegen , cfx mesh, turbogrid but USUALLY after simulation with cfx I find the results so far of experimental also the pressures on the leading edge are negatifs with large values so physicaly are very strange, who can explain me this problem can I use ICEM CFD to mesh my blade impeller

hi mino just check the element qualities there. create a isovolume (create volume and use isovolume option) and check the quality of the elements there. also u can change the limits of the legend to userspecified in the contour plot with the pressure values (minimum limit of negative value to maximum limit of zero) and see where it happens. this will give a fair idea about what has been the problem. after seeing them, if convinced, you can safely naglect it.

hi sudhakar

i have meshed the blade with cfx mesher then I exported the meher domain to ICEM CFD i checked but no broblem apear that seem well when i simulite by CFX i find the same problem where I can find isovolume option in cfx mesh or icem cfd what is the best quality mesh element to choose (limit please)

hi mino the things that i mentioned in earlier post are to be done using CFXPOST. to create isovolume, create<volume and use iso volume option (isovolume available in the click down menu). the circular vent example has the isovolume method used in CFXPOST.

what did u mean by "no change". did u see the elements where the pressure values went negative. if u r convinced by seeing them, u can safely ignore them.
