Hi

I am doing a steady state couple field electro-thermal analysis in ANSYS. I would like to set lower boundary limit for temperature for the thermal element i.e, temperature should not go below certain temperature. It can be free to assume any higher temperature value. Could you please inform me how can I accomplish this?

Thanking you, Arefin Anwar Concordia University

You could try to set you boundary temperature via the expression: Tbound=T*step(T-Tlow)+Tlow*step(Tlow-T). Where Tlow is your fixed minimal Temperatur and T is the variable temperature of your boundary.
