Importing Meshes from ANSYS

Hi, Does anyone know if there's a way to import meshes made in ANSYS (FLOTRAN) into CFX-PRE? If not, which is the easiest way to create a simple mesh for CFX? (So far as I know the only related programs on the uni workstations are HyperMesh, I-DEAS and ANSYS)

Any help would be much appreciated, Its hard doing modeling work when you don't have a mesh. Thanks, Kieran

Hi,

CFX-Mesh is very easy to use. Do the tutorial and you will be meshing simple geometries in only a few minutes.

You could try a CDWRITE command from Ansys to see if CFX will read the Ansys input (.cdb file).

I use, gambit, GiD and qork fine. I'm used to them from fluent so that's why I use them
