Hi,all Now I have fifty groups number,the aluminium density depending on temperature.How can I add this to my material in cfx?

Maybe I can add this using CEL, Temp=Densitylower+(Densityupper-Densitylower)*(T-Templower)/(Tempupper-Templower)

But it is difficult as there are two many data . Maybe I can use the profile instead. I have no idea. Could someone give me some suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Dear Jason,

Read about 1D interpolation function in the ANSYS CFX-Pre manual. Then, you will input (Temperature,Density) pairs, and let the solver evaluate that for you..

Dear Opaque :

Thank you for your help. It is very useful for me.

The Units in the Plot seems different from the "Result Units" .For example,I set the thermal conductivity [W m^-1 K^-1] in "result Units", and it turns out [kg m s^-3 K^-1] in the plot in the expression. Is it Okay?

Dear Jason,

[W] = [J s^-1] = [N m s^-1] = [kg m s^-2 m s^-1] = [kg m^2 s^-3]

[W m^-1 K^-1] = [kg m^2 s^-3 m^-1 K^-1]= = [kg m s^-3 K^-1]

I do not see any problem..
