airfoil, mesh spacing problem, CFX-ICEM
hello. Im analizyng a Naca 4415 airfoil. I meshed in ICEM. I run an analisis with a spacing of 0.01 and ran Ok. Then I modified the spacing to 0.008 and when the solver began, its stops inmediatly saying: +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ | ERROR #002100010 has occurred in subroutine cVolSec. | | Message: | | One of the sector volumes of an element is equal to or less than | | zero. It means that there exists an illegal mesh, execution will | | be stopped immediately. | | The element sequential number is: 119 | | The element label is: 119 | | The sector volume is: -0.2842E-13 | | The location (x,y,z): 0.12802E+02-0.38100E+01 0.50000E+00 | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+
It seems that the mesh has a element with a negative volumen. Im doing the 2-D mesh, and the extruding it. Any suggestions? Thankss Santiago. |
