velocity in stationary frame

I have rotating/stationary domain and I am using the frozen rotor interface for this problem. When I draw the vector of the velocity it shows that the rotating domain is rotating in the opposite direction of the that input in the definition file and the flow around the rotor behaves as if the rotation is in this direction (the opposite one). The velocity in stationary frame shows that the rotation is in the direction entered by the user but the flow around the rotor (in the stationary domain) looks as if the rotor is moving in the opposite direction. Which one to believe?
