Solver error

Hi,

what does this error in CFX5Solve mean:

was interrupted by signal SEGV (11)

I simulate a two-phase flow with flue gas and droplets with CFX10 on a Linux Cluster.

Thanks

Claudia

Re: Solver error

Dear Claudia,

That is a segmentation fault, usually due to illegal memory access by the application, in this case the ANSYS CFX solver or cfx5solve script.

On this one, you should contact CFX help desk for needed help.

Opaque..

PS. Are you sure that all the computing nodes are using the same version of the solver executable?

Hi Opaque,

thanks for reply. I think that all somputing nodes use the same solver executable but I am not really sure.
