how to move a mesh (oscillating motion) in case of diffuser vanes in a centrifugal compressor. dynamic variation is required. how to create the sub routine in that case

Are you prescribing the mesh motion, or are you looking to do it through FSI?

Its not FSI... Its to simulate the vane motion.. so i've to just move the mesh dynamically and the mesh motion is to be given as the inlet condition during analysis..

If you can create an expression for the motion that will be the easiest and quickest. If you can then create it and use the 'specified location' or 'specifiec displacement' option for the surface boundary conditions. Jon

the problem is that i have to use rotating frame for impeller blades and oscillatory motion for diffuser blades at a time. in that case how is it possible to create an expression. Can u please explain with an example? Jeyanth

I have never used the rotating frame so not sure how this would work. try tech support they will be able to help you pretty quick as it is not a new problem..
