Help! Error of CFX10

Hello everyone!
When I finished the calculation, the error display as follows: An error has occurred in cfx5solve: The CFX-5 solver has terminated without writing a results file. Command on host kirbycfd exited with return code 0. An error has occurred in cfx5solve: Error reported by IO module: iif_open: can't read the first seven characters: Invalid argument An error has occurred in cfx5solve: Error reported by IO module: iocnt: open the primary file failed An error has occurred in cfx5solve: Error from IO module while opening :\ES\DISCFX\Distributor2_001.dir\136_full.bak: "iocnt: open the primary file failed" IO_READ_ERR(10): Error reading from disk. An error has occurred in cfx5solve:Error reported by IO module: iif_open: can't read the first seven characters: No such file or directory An error has occurred in cfx5solve:Error reported by IO module: iocnt: open the primary file failed An error has occurred in cfx5solve:Error from IO module while opening D:\ES\DISCFX\Distributor2_001.dir\136_full.bak:"io cnt: open the primary file failed" IO_READ_ERR(10): Error reading from disk. An error has occurred in cfx5solve: Error creating directory D:\ES\DISCFX\Distributor2_001 for additional output files: Not enough space. There is 3-G Hard Disk space in my disk. Thank! And no result file generated.
Above Error displays when I let the Computor running itself about several hours. if I keep using the PC, there is no such errors. Thanks! |

Errors like these can occur if you have opened the backup file in Post while the solver is trying to move it. It can also happen if you have a huge particle track file. Do you have something like this?

I opened the backup frequency in solver, and not in post just the error displayed. And no particle track in the model. Maybe this is the error of mis-install of software? But if I running a simple example which converged in about 100 iterations, No error display. Thank you! |
