About combustion in CFX 11: how can I simulate the Jet A (or something similar) combustion? Please help me!

But in Cfx 11 there is the possibility to simulate Jet A or I have to use some external libraries like Cfx-Rif for Cfx 10? Thanks a lot!!

Dear Axl,
If you want to use the flamelet model, you need a flamelet library for Jet A (I do not recall if CFX supplies that one). However, if you want to use other combustion models, CFX provides properties for Jet A in one of the materials file. Go to the Material section and import additional libraries. Check in the materials for Combustion.. It should be there (at least in ANSYS CFX-11.0).. Opaque |
