about advance turbulence controlin CFX5.6
Hi, everybody, can any of you tell me that if CFX5.6 has the advanced turbulence model control as in CFX10 and how can I set or modify them? Thank you!

The Advanced turbulence model control were not available in the 5.6 release . Several of the current advanced control were hidden as expert parameters, and other did not even exists. Which one are you looking for? Opaque. |

OK.. it is the k-epsilon model. Which constants in the k-epsilon model do you want to change using the 5.6 release version? Please as specific as you can be, on which model constant you need.. Just a heads up.. They will not support CEL expressions at all since they were expert parameters back then. Answering "All" is not a choice.. Regards, Opaque. |

Below is what you need to modify those models constants you mentioned.. This only worked up until 5.6.. Latest releases do not support these parameters. I am very skeptical of modifications of the model coefficients by those who are not turbulence modeling experts since there are quite a few relations between the coefficients themselves to satisfy some physics. If you know what you are doing, good luck. Opaque.
