I need to model a pump as a momentum source, but analysing at CFX-Post my pump generates momentum in all directions. It's wrong and I don't know my mistakes.

Tks

How do you define your momentum source? I would suggest to use cartesian coordinates to define the x,y,z direction of the source. Use 0 for the directions that no momentum is needed.

Yep! I did it! I used values for x and y direction and 0 for the other one. So, I don't have idea where is the problem and how to fix it. Can be on the geometry or mesh? I guess not...

I would set 1 momentum and use two zero's.......
