Hello! I want simulate 3D axial model! I don't want simulate whole model! Can i use axial symmetry BC? I should make think 3D model and applay symmetry BC to profile of model? I understand, that this think model will be not correct, because i use model with fixed thickness...

Thanks!

Hard to say. Need to see the model first. What is a 3D axial model?

I try to simulate Laval nozzle... I have to use whole model? Can i simplify full 3D model to quasi 2D Axial?

Yes... Simpified model will be "flat" profile of nozzle?

Such as at picture( symmetry plane ):

You only have to do 1 layer: http://www.ansys.com/products/cfx/cf...r-example1.htm Dr. Flow Squad
