Pressure Gradient BC

Hi, I have a rectangular shape and perform a heat transfer CFD computation.

I want to be the pressure gradients (PX,PY) be zwro at the inlet and also have a velocity BC. Is this possible in CFX,CFD? Also for the outlet I want to make the pressure gradients vanish. How can I do it in CFX 11?

Another question: At the top I have symetry BC Does pressure gradients vanish in these case?

Simply I dont want any pressure gradient at the boundries of Rectangular Shape.(inlet, outlet etc..)

Any suggestions

Thanks, Selim

Re: Pressure Gradient BC

Set a Static Pressure inlet and use the Zero Gradient option.

Re: Pressure Gradient BC

Sorry, I should have payed closer attention to your question. It is not possible to specify both the pressure and the velocity, you need to pick one. Specifying both would be overspecifying the problem and would not be physically realistic.
