simulate contraction part of wind tunnel

Hi...I'm trying to simulate one part of the wind tunnel body(vacant body w/out screen and honeycomb)..from the settling chamber > contraction > test section...What should I put in the solver (convergence control and equation class setting). In fact..I want to get 80 m/s in the test section.what kind of turbulence model and requirement should be taken....Thanx

Re: simulate contraction part of wind tunnel

Hi,

Turbulence model - SST should be good here. If you are interested in the development and/or transition of the boundary layer on the tunnel walls then consider the transition model.

Should be a straight forward simulation.

Thanx Glenn...I'll try it after this. But for your information..the wind tunnel is for "LOw Speed Wind Tunnel"...is it ok??before this i'm just using K-Epsilon, Thermal Energy...the result is convergence but not so ok graph at the beginning.how can i improve this...you got any ideas??
