what's the mean of the "velocity in Stn Frame" ?
I want to export the velocity values of the grid points. But there are many types, which are "velocity", "velocity in Stn Frame", "velocity u", and so on. What are the differences? Thanks!

"stn" stand for "stationary", so velocity in stn frame, means velocity wrt a stationary frame of reference. other velocities are wrt to your rotating frame of reference while dealing problems of turbo machinery.
velocity= resultant velocity,V(ui+vj+wk) velocity u= only x component of V(ui+vj+wk) velocity stn= velocity wrt stationary frame of reference. |
