Possible to march backwards in time ?

Hi. I was just wondering if CFX was capable of marching backwards in time.

I tried to place a negative time step but CFX complained bitterly.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

No, not possible.

An interesting question. Transport phenomena are irresversible, you can not simply reverse them without doing additional work. This would be violation of second law of thermodynamics. For example, negative thermal conductivity and negative diffusion coefficient are something similar to negative time-step.
