Hi
I am able to interpolate using cfx5interp command from a result file to def file when there is change in mesh but domain dimensions are same. But now have extruded the domain in z-direction. But kept the kept the mesh count constant. When I interpolate now its giving me an error and I am unable to interpolate. Input your suggestions on how to interpolate this. Thanks Ramesh |

Hi Ramesh,
If the mesh remains the same (i.e. you are only moving the nodes), you can enable an environment variable to force the interpolator to ignore the locations and simply interpolate the values. The environment variable is "CFX_INTERP_NOCRDVX_CHECK". Make sure you remove it when you're done or it will mess up other runs. -CycLone |
