Sample script for ICEM in batch

hello,

I am looking for a sample script that would give me an idea about how to proceed on the following problem:

*load iges *put mesh parameters (on curves, surfaces) *mesh in tetra + prisms *export to fluent

everything should run through the command line.

Regards,

Nicolas

Re: Sample script for ICEM in batch

Hello Nicolas, I assume that you have many number of cases you need to repeat all the steps you have mentioned. There is a replay option in ICEM where in it records all the steps you do. Do all the steps once, starting from model import till mesh export. Keep recording all these steps. You can always edit those if you want to change some of the steps done. In the end you have to save that (as .rpl file). For the rest of the cases, change the file name in the script and then run it as "icem -batch -script test.rpl2", where test.rpl is the file you have saved.

Hello to everybody,

Anantha, when you said "change the file name in the script" what did you exactly mean - changing the name of the file or changing some file name in the script itself?

Regards,
Eugene
