I'd like to see if CFX-mesh would handle some of my meshing issues a little better. In Design Modeler, you can input named selections and use those to input meshing criteria. Problem is, how would I select a surface on the inside? All of my outer surfaces are easily selectable but I have a nozzle deep inside the part that needs criteria on it as well.

I'm thinking there is some woefully easy 'click this button'.

I'm not 100% familiar with CFX-Mesh either, so is there a way to have it examine internal parts like that as well?

Hi,

You can also use point, line and triangular mesh controls which can be assigned to points either as vertices or type in XYZ location. You can use these to refine the mesh inside a geometry with no feature to attach it to.

thanks for the reply. I'll play around with the controls then and see if I can't get something that works. -W
