Hi,
I cannot reach the convergence criteria (1E-04) at 60 bar (SST, 2.2 million nodes, v=62 m/s, mesh quality nice). If I choose the pressure 1 bar, then I have a nice convergence after 100 steps. Please have somebody any idea how I can solve the problem? Thank you very much. Toralf |

Hi,
Does the higher pressure induce higher flow velocities? Is it compressible flow so therefore it chokes? Higher flow velocities or significant compressibility effects often will slow convergence. Glenn Horrocks |

Check reference pressure that you are setting. For, good convergence, it should be near to the pressure at which CFD domain is at.
