hai,

i think we can import meshed CMDB file from ansys cfx-mesh to cfx-pre.But when i tried to import the CMDB file i got an error as below. "SEVERE Operation failed with unrecognised system exception." I WILL BE THANKFUI TO ANYONE WHO SUGGESTS ME THE SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLEM. My model is complex and have 36 lakhs elements.

Hi,

On a 32 bit machine the cmdb import into CFX-Pre runs out of memory quickly and crashes with strange errors. I suspect this is the problem. Either import on a 64 bit machine or use another mesh format.
