Simulating fully developed flow in a pipe

Hi guys,

I realise this is probably an easy question, but none the less I am not sure of the answer. I want to simulate flow in a pipe with periodic boundary conditions. i.e. I have a pipe, I define an inlet, outlet and wall condition, but how do I then define periodic boundary conditions so the fluid leaving the outlet re-enters the inlet? I want to do this to simulate a long pipe without modelling a long pipe.

Thanks, Tim.

Have a look at the Translational Periodicity under Domain Interface Modelling in the Solver Modelling Guide. There are certain criteria to be met in setting up problem like that. Good luck.
