Default Transport equation for an Additional Variable

Hi all,

I want to solve the transport equation for an additional variable that contains only the transient and source terms. I want to do away with the diffusion and convection terms.

How can I do this?

I tried using the Diffusive Transport equation (that eliminates the convection term) and setting the diffusivity to zero. But then I see a solver error saying that the diffusivity limits are out of bounds.

How should I trick CFX into solving what I want

Try setting it to something stupidly small like 1e-50 m2/s.

What you are trying to do, isn't that just equal to integrating your source term in time? Depending on your source term you might even do this analytically.
