hello
i would like to ask for any idea how to simulate wind turbine, i have the mesh and i do not know what to do!!! to put an nagular velocity to the blade mesh? to put a moment? i do not know .... i create it as a FSI simulation where the cfx first apply the wind load and then the ansys create the rotation and the displacement and then the cfx solve the next step. the problem is that i do not know if i should put the moment of the generator in the axis of the ansys solid model or i should put the rotation? any helpppppppp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! please |

Hi,
Sounds like you need to start with the basics. There are some turbomachinery examples in the tutorials which come with CFX, these would be a good start. Glenn Horrocks |
