Default thickness of 2D simulations need for converge?

Hi!

What the thickness or anlge of aperture that the 2D models needs for a good convergency and linearization in direction of parallel (or for cylindrical cases: anlge of aperture between the simerty planes) planes that are simetry?

Example:

For a profiles of the wings, papers show that 10% of rope of the wing is good thiknes.

Hi,

If you are asking how thick should the extrusion/rotation be in CFX for 2D simulations - this is discussed in the documentation. Look in the Modelling manual under Modeling 2D problems.
