can anybody give me any link where I can find the basic flow features of IGV?

I also need to know why IGV is used in Gas Turbines.

Hi,

The flow features of inlet guide vanes are described in any turbomachinery textbook. My book is "Fluid Mechanics - Thermodynamics of Turbomachinery" by S L Dixon but I don't think it is a great book and other people may have a better reference. It is a start at least.
